IMG Academy Graduate Cameron Mercadel Joins Central Wyoming College

Cameron is a 6’1” sophomore point guard from Southern California who played basketball at and graduated from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He began his college basketball career at NCAA Division II Northern State University and will now continue his career at Central Wyoming College for the 2026–27 season, competing in NJCAA Region IX. He is looking to take his game to the next level of play, with the goal of playing Division I basketball.

There is also an interesting connection with Central Wyoming head coach Bob Ludwig, who previously coached at IMG Academy for three years. Cameron will now be playing for Ludwig at Central Wyoming College
